plans hatching, rain reviving
desires.
I’ve put a bandage on my mourning.
One step at a time.
Reaching out again, fueled by news
From loved ones. A respite on the horizon,
waves lapping peaceful coves.
Don’t rip it off, or pick at the scab,
scratch till your nails draw blood.
Time and the long road of healing.
